Local Valentine’s Day Gift Guide
I love all holidays, so I always get so excited to write about holiday things and to post themed posts, which is what brings me here today!! I'm so excited to share my Local Valentine's Day Gift Guide with you today! I absolutely love Valentine's Day, and I know everyone doesn't, but if 2020/2021 taught us anything it's take advantage of every moment and enjoy the little things. So maybe if you haven't celebrated before, this is your year to have a little extra fun and go all out! ;)
I wanted to highlight some of my favorite local businesses that you can buy Valentine's/Galentine's gifts from this year, because they need us to now more than ever, and I've also included a couple date ideas that will be super fun and can be enjoyed inside the comfort of your own home!

Who doesn't love charcuterie? I know we do in this household. Charcuterie boards/boxes make such amazing gifts and a lot of the time they can be delivered too! I love candles so much, but I especially love when I find local Indy candle brands, like TLC Candle Co. I actually was introduced to TLC Candle Co. while at a boutique shopping event a few years back, and instantly fell in love with their packaging and scents. And they were just the sweetest to me too! They have just introduced a brand new scent for Valentine's Day, and it's their "Roses" scent, which is made of luxury soy, as all their candles are, and it smells incredible!! Not to mention how beautiful the packaging and jar is. Something about this scent feels nostalgic to me, and I just love it!

You can never go wrong with flowers for Valentine's Day of course, but I love that Flower Boys is a local, small business that creates absolutely stunning bouquets at very reasonable prices for such incredible flowers. Blooming Bakes
Blooming Bakes has the best cookies in Indy in my opinion!! She is one of the most talented cookie decorators I've ever seen, and her cookies taste amazing too!! Board & Brush
I had the pleasure of hosting an event with Board & Brush two Christmases ago, and it was SO much fun. I know some people may not feel comfortable going out to an in person event, but Board & Brush is open, and you can always gift someone the experience, or take someone here as a date night activity. BUT what I wanted to share is that they are offering at-home DIY kits to make a cute little sign for Valentine's Day this year in your own home. I absolutely love that idea!! If you have someone crafty in your life, this would be such a fun thing to do together as a date or family night, and a great way to support a local business. Shop at-home kits here!
Bottle Works Hotel Staycation
If you do feel comfortable venturing out this Valentine's Day, and you haven't checked out the brand new Bottle Works Hotely in Downtown Indy, then I have just the idea for you! My husband and I got to do a short staycation in December at this gorgeous hotel, and we couldn't have loved it any more. It was so beautiful, it's the perfect location, and the staff was incredible. Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and tons to check out inside the hotel as well. The rooms are so beautiful and it's fun to pretend like you're on vacation in your own city every once and awhile! A trip to Bottle Works would make the perfect Valentine's gift!
