That One Time We Got Married | Vendor Love + Our First Look
Hi guys!
Today I'm going to be highlighting our amazing vendors from our wedding day!!
We could not have had a more perfect day. It was such a good day, I've never smiled so much, and our vendors could not have done a better job. The day went off without a hitch! (Well, there was one hitch! ;))
I can't thank our vendors enough for creating such a special day and such a hoppin' party. If you're local to Indy, these guys will surely make your day spectacular. So whether you're planning your own wedding day, helping out your bff plan theirs, or just dreaming about your perfect day in the very far off future, these vendors will help make that day a dream come true.
Let's start with our photographer, since we wouldn't have a blog post without her amazing work! Our photographer was Cat Satre Photography! In my opinion, she is one of the best photographers in all of Indianapolis, if you're looking for that timeless, classic "wedding photos" look that are bright and airy with pops of color. She's also the sweetest ever and so hilarious, she brightens every room she enters, and she makes your day 10x better.

Also, shoutout to the gal that made it ALL happen, and that was our incredible jack-of-all-trades/coordinator/planner Jen Barnette, of Four Leaf Events. She seriously is the absolute best. We needed her. As wedding filmmakers ourselves, when we work weddings without a planner, they are literally a disaster. If you're on the fence about having one, book one now, preferably Jen, if you want the best. It truly should be your first step in planning your wedding. Just saying.

We got married at Laurel Hall, which looks like a freakin' castle. Cam and I actually had a prom there in high school, which is how we knew about it, but a lot of the time when I talk to people here in Indy, they haven't heard of it!! It truly is a hidden gem.

Our reception was STUNNING!!! Fun fact, our entire wedding was supposed to be outside, but the Lord had other plans! haha It POURED from 4 AM to 12 AM on our wedding day, which was cool, so we ended up having to move absolutely everything inside! So I was a little bit terrified, as Laurel Hall's main floor is split up into like 6 different rooms, but we made it work, and it actually was PERFECT. I was absolutely blown away when I got to see the reception space for the first time all set up. I couldn't believe how they seamlessly designed each room to flow into the next, and it all looked incredible!!
A huge shoutout to A Classic Party Rentals for bringing my tablescape dreams to life! They did such a wonderful job.

Our florist was Lexi Russell, and she is the queen. She not only did all the floral arrangements/floral elements, but she freakin' did all of the table centerpieces/design elements. Candle sticks? Lexi. Real life peaches? Lexi. Little baby cacti? Lexi. We couldn't have done it without her, like when I say she's the queen, I mean like she's the actual queen. Kween. Oh yeah, she's also a bomb photographer too. What doesn't she do?

One of my favorite elements of our wedding was our "lounge" area in the solarium. I wanted this space for people who wanted to be close to dancing, but not dancing themselves, or for those who physically weren't able to dance, but wanted to watch and be a part of all the fun. But also because it was just gorgeous and I live for that emerald green couch. And boy, was the lounge a hit!!
We actually ended up taking a ton of our family photos with green couch too, because it helped us fit in more people and also looked freaking amazing.
All of this furniture is by the coolest company ever: ROOTS Rentals here in Indy. (But they do travel!) They are the next big thing when it comes to wedding rental companies. They started not too long ago, and they're about to take Indy by storm. Seriously, they are so cool.
Their style is unlike any other rental company that we have here, their personalities are incredible which makes them amazing to work with, and they have the most unique pieces in town. You have to have them as a part of your day. Just look at that dream set up!!

We also used ROOTS pieces for our sweetheart table + the area rug under our table, and I'm in love with how it turned out!! Literally something out of a dream.

Up next, let's talk food!!
We used Jacquie's Gourmet Catering for our meal, Sweet Seductions Cakes for our mini cake and cupcakes, and Portillo's Hot Dogs for our late nite bites!
Our meal was phenomenal and their service was amazing! They were so sweet to us! Our mini cake was delicious, and Paige was incredible to work with; She is such a sweetheart!!! And lastly, we had a freakin' hot dog and Italian beef sandwich bar at the end of the night from Portillo's, and the crowd. went. wild.
Seriously, it was so many people's favorite part of the night!! It was so fun and so delicious! (Portillo's is one of my favorite, if not my actual favorite, "fast food" places). And if ya'll left our wedding early you missed the greatest dance party of all time and free hot dogs, just saying.

Our videographers are the best. If you need proof, here you go.
White in Revery ft. Seth Dunlap is the ultimate video dream team, and they seriously made our day so much fun. I literally laugh out loud when I think back on the day and all of the hilariousness that was said and done with Seth and Kristine. Kristine is a part of the dynamic duo, White in Revery, which is run by herself and her husband, Calen Rhome, and they're based in Denver, CO. They're actual rockstars and their work is impeccable. We've actually taken their film course for our own business; They're literally geniuses.
Calen was filming elsewhere, so they sent the next best thing, Seth Dunlap, aka the funniest person you'll ever meet. I've never laughed so hard on a dance floor in my entire life. LOLOL If you have the chance to meet him, please please please ask him to dance for you. hahahah

Last but not least, our beauty team!!
I did my own makeup, but I had 2 makeup artists do the girls and the mom's makeup! We used two of my sweet friends: Esthetics with Ashlee and Alyssa Mocas MUA.
For my hair and for the bridesmaid's hair, we used For The Dainty Days; The actual Hair Fairy. She is so so talented!! I am still 100% obsessed with my wedding day hair.
It truly was the best day ever, and we genuinely had the best vendors ever. So if you're planning your wedding, I hope you found this helpful!! And if you're just here to hang, thanks so much for stopping by!!
And thank you so much to everyone who made our day possible!
